From 1 July 2015 the Federal Government plans to expand access to the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) to all businesses with an annual turnover below $2million (the small business entity turnover threshold).

The SBSCH is a free online service that helps small businesses to meet their Super Guarantee obligations.

Also from this date, employers will no longer be required to offer choice of fund forms to temporary residents or employees whose super fund has merged.

The aim with these changes is to reduce small business red tape.
